This is a baked chicken dish. I have grown to become a fan of baked chicken over the past few years. This garlic pepper chicken recipe is very simple to make and does not require a lot of effort.
I used frozen chicken from Meijer's, but I prefer to cook with Amish chicken because it's a healthier option and it tastes better. If you've never had Amish chicken, you should definitely try it.
I used Lawry's seasoning salt, garlic powder, paprika, and black pepper to cover the baking pan.
These seasonings taste amazing together. I shake the seasonings within moderation because you do not want to add too much or too little on this dish.
I like to line the baking pan with two layers of aluminum foil down, shiny side up because it helps with the clean up. Usually when I do this, I don't have to wash the pan because it did not get any of the seasonings or chicken juices on it. However if you use one layer, you'll have to wash the pan.
After I placed the chicken in the pan, I covered it with those same seasonings. I also added the Mrs. Dash Italian Medley blend seasoning on the top of the chicken.
Then I covered the chicken with aluminum foil, shiny side down and popped the chicken in the oven for 55 minutes.
When it was finished it looked like all types of love.
I like to bake this chicken and save it to eat for leftovers for the rest of the week. I like to add it in salad or use it in sandwiches.
