I know it can be hard as a fashion blogger to obtain followers, views, and likes on Instagram which is why the use of hashtags or "tags for likes" comes in pretty handy. Hashtags are used as a way to tag a picture and to drive people to see this picture through the use of a search. For example if someone tags their picture with the hashtag "outfit" ( #outfit ), then their picture with the hashtag will be seen in the search when someone looks for "outfit" on Instagram. Here is an example.
There are tons of hashtags that you can use, but if you are a fashion blogger you should have specific fashion related hashtags that can help you be seen.
Instagram allows the use of 30 hashtags. So there is a limit of how many hashtags that can be used, but you can always post tags in the comments if you would like to use more hashtags than what is allowed within the post.

Other fashion hashtag tips to keep in mind when you use hashtags.
I use about 15 hashtags when posting a fashion focused picture, but other people use around 2-8. Then they post a comment of the other hashtags they want to use within a separate post.
Some people eventually delete the hashtags on their pictures or in their comments in about a month. I think they do this mainly to remove clutter or to make the picture look clean without the clutter of hashtags.
Tag clothing brands - It is good to hashtag and to " @ " the brands of clothes you are wearing within your photo as well. It would be good to research the brands hashtags because sometimes they even have specific #hashtags for clothing or accessories features on their Instagram pages.
Examples:
If you are wearing something from Macy's - #Macys or @Macys or do both.
If you are wearing something from Boohoo tag it with @boohoousa . Hashtag the picture where you showcase your BooHoo outfit with #myboohoostyle or #boohooMANstyle for a feature.
If you created a blog post dedicated to the fashion that you posted on Instagram, make sure to incorporate your link into your profile while within the post expressing that the link will be in the profile.
Please keep in mind that most of the hashtags mentioned in this post are popular and have lots of photos that have used the tags listed above. Most hashtags usually have a time frame of about a week to be seen depending on what time you post the picture along with the hashtags you have chosen.
Also keep in mind that the time in which you post your fashion related pictures can also affect the amount of likes, views, and follows that you may receive from posting your photo (even with the hashtags).
