There are so many movies that I want to see this Summer. Some of them I have been waiting to come out for the past year. I have already seen Avengers: Infinity Wars which was pretty good, but there are a few more movies that I am looking forward to checking out this Summer.
So let's get into it!
Deadpool 2
Deadpool 2 came out this past week. I originally thought I was going to see it the day it came out like I do for every Marvel movie. I always see it the Thursday it comes out in theaters, but life happened. I am hoping that I can see it next month at some point.
Incredibles 2
When I first found out that Incredibles 2 was coming to theaters, I was extremely happy. I am looking forward to seeing how their family handles their mother doing the crime fighting thing full time while everyone else is supposed to focus on having a normal life.... initially.
Solo: A Star Wars Story
Okay so I am going to be completely honest, I have not seen any of the Star Wars films all of the way through. Well, I have seen Rogue One which was amazing, but I have yet to see any of the other films. I am hoping that I will sometime this year. However, I have seen a decent amount of the trailers for the new Star Wars movie and I am kind of interested in watching the film. I could be a bit biased though. Donald Glover is in the movie and he is one of my favorite actors so that is one of my main reasons for wanting to check out this movie, but nevertheless... I want to watch this movie as well as the other Star Wars films soon.
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
I absolutely love the Jurassic franchise and I am looking forward to seeing this movie. I can't wait to see what happens within this film. Plus, Jeff Goldblum who was in the original Jurassic Park movies is going to be in this film. I am super excited about it!
Ant-Man and the Wasp
I have been excited for this movie to come out since first seeing Ant-Man which came out in 2015. I am super excited to see The Wasp. Although I am kind of disappointed because I was hoping that I would see the original costume that she wore in the comics. Overall though, I am looking forward to seeing this movie heavily.
The Darkest Minds
The Darkest Minds is based on a young adult book under the same name by Alexandra Bracken. I haven't read the book or the books within the series, but I plan on checking it out. It kind of reminds me of an X-Men type of situation. For anyone interested in Marvel or DC Comics, you'll most likely want to see this!
So that sums up the movies that I plan on seeing this Summer. I am looking forward to seeing them all.
