I saw Spider-Man late last night and I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. I actually really enjoyed Tom Holland as Peter Parker. I know a lot of people were hesitant about him being Spider-Man because Tobey Maguire will always be a great Spider-Man to me, but I actually genuinely appreciated Holland's version of the friendly neighborhood superhero. I will try to keep this review short and simple without giving too many details on the movie because I would love for you guys to check it out yourselves.
So yeah, let's jump into a quick review of the movie Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Peter Parker is learning to become Spider-Man as well as manage his everyday life.
That's what this entire movie is about really. Peter Parker is a sophomore in high school, but he is really focused on saving people and helping so that he can become an Avenger while making his mentor Tony Sparks proud of him.

Side comment: Parker's best friend reminds me of Wade from Kim Possible. This isn't really important, but if you guys watched Kim Possible when you were a kid... All you'll think of is Wade.
I wasn't a fan of the love interest.
I know most movies usually have some sort of love interest, but I am not a big fan of this particular love interest. Then again I have always had mixed feelings about love interests of Spider-man in the movies. For example I despised Kristen Dunst's Mary Jane, buuuuut I will say that I did like Emma Stone's Gwen.
However I did like this version of MJ..
Some of you may catch onto who is MJ within this movie, but I really like the actress who plays her. Her character is sarcastic and hilarious. I really appreciated this version of Mary Jane and I look forward to seeing if they bring her and Peter together or if they will keep them as friends.

The villain...
I can't say too much about the villain except that he is a somewhat relatable character to a degree. His reasoning for fighting Spider-man makes sense even if it's wrong.
Aunt May
I was really curious as to how they would go with a younger Aunt May, but I actually liked it and prefer it. I also think it was cool that they kind of bypassed the Uncle Ben segment because I always felt like his death became played out after awhile within the Spider-man movies.
Side Comment: There is an amazing plot twist in this movie that none of us saw coming. The entire theater was shocked by this plot twist. I can't really make a reference to it, but this definitely would be in the running of "Best Plot Twists of the Year that No One Saw Coming."
Another Side Comment: I will say though the music was off during certain moments. The choice of music can make or break a moment. It can turn a moment into something sappy or something monumental in my opinion.

Overall, head to the theaters to see Spider-Man: Homecoming! It has a lot of hilarious moments and action. The characters are great and the storyline is pretty amazing too. I hope you guys like it!
