Can you guys believe it? We're down to the last two episodes of The Vampire Diaries series!! There has been a lot of stuff happening this season from sirens to the devil to seeing our favorite characters from the past and one character in particular has made her way back from Hell, literally. Katherine Pierce is back you guys and she's running Hell with a possible vengeance! However before I get into that, let me talk about a few thoughts that have been running through my mind after seeing last week's episode of The Vampire Diaries.
Here's what I thought about last week's episode of The Vampire Diaries Season 8 Episode 14 "It's Been a Hell of a Ride."

Damon finally chooses!
Cade gave Damon the option to choose whose life to save; Stefan's or Elena's. Damon decided both. He ended up sacrificing himself to save Stefan and Elena, which was beautiful. However he didn't die because Stefan saved him.
SN: Damon's spirit was in limbo, but he explains that some how his soul went back into his body. That did not exactly make sense to me, but yeah.
Cade dies, but where exactly did he go?
So Stefan was able to kill Cade for the complete and utter win, but does this mean that he stays in Hell? Where does he go since he was the one who created it?
The scene that shocked us all!!
How exactly did Katherine become in charge of Hell?
I mean, really? How exactly did she of all people come into this power? I would not exactly say that Katherine was evil enough to become the devil. I mean we saw that she was the first to be sucked into hell, but is it really going to end with her being in charge?

It is all coming to whether Bonnie is going to be the person who ends all of this. I am hoping that they do not kill Bonnie off, but with Katherine being in charge of hell... It's anybody's guess who stays alive by the end of the series.
Or will it be the Gemini kids that save everyone?
I feel like the Gemini children have played a decent role in the last two seasons. They have a bigger purpose. I wouldn't be surprised if they used their powers to un-link Bonnie and Elena or if they'll be the ones to stop Katherine even though I feel like that's a reach.
Steroline is happening! Stefan and Caroline are getting married.

In tonight's episode, we're about to see Stefan and Caroline make their way down the aisle. Of course we do not exactly know how far they will get if Katherine's in Hell. We all know Katherine has been deeply in love with Stefan and wants nothing more than to be with him. There is no doubt in my mind that she will do whatever it takes to crash this wedding.
As this season comes to a close there is a lot that is about to go down especially with the return of Katherine. So now it's time for you guys to chime in!
