There are so many Disney cartoon movies that have turned into live action films. There's Cinderella, Jungle Book, Alice In Wonderland, and Beauty & the Beast which comes to theaters next month. However one of the live action movies that I fell in love with was Maleficent. It told the story of the "villain" Maleficient from the cartoon movie Sleeping Beauty and how her evil tactics were actually some sort of retaliation because of what was done to her in the past. This movie alone had me wondering about the untold stories of other Disney villains. I found out recently that there is going to be a live action Cruella de Vil movie featuring Emma Stone which I am super excited about, but with the creation of this film maybe there are some other stories that could be told as well.
So here's my list of the top 5 Disney villains that deserve their own live action movies.

Evil Queen (Snow White)
In Snow White, the Evil Queen despised Snow because of her beauty and took it upon herself to hunt her down. I know that there have been different reasonings behind why the Queen decided to constantly come after Snow White in other media like "Snow White and the Huntsman" as well as the "Once Upon A Time" series, but I would love to see a different depiction of the Evil Queen.

Ursula (The Little Mermaid)
Ursula sought power and wanted control of all of the Sea, but I have always wondered why there was so much hostility that she felt towards King Triton. Another thing that always made me curious about Ursula was how she preyed on those who longed for love which made me wonder about her background or whether she felt love or she felt entitled to certain things. Also was her magic self-taught or did someone teach her how to use magic? I mean why wouldn't Ursula want to be human herself if she could whenever she wanted? There are so many questions.

Jafar (Aladdin)
There is not too much known about Jafar's background, but he was filled with greed. I am not saying that Disney solely could create a film about him considering Jafar had certain qualities that were not magically filled with the essence of Disney, but I would love to learn about where Jafar came from and why he became who he was. I would also like to know how he was able to acquire his serpent staff of hypnotism as well as how he even learned about the Cave of Wonders.

Frollo (Hunchback of Notre Dame)
Frollo, the prime minister from the Hunchback of Notre Dame, was also a wild card. Much like Jafar, he had a lot of non-Disney like qualities. I have always wondered about his dislike for gypsies or whether his disliked for them stemmed from his awareness of knowing that he couldn't have them for himself. In the movie he reveals subtle hints of how he longed for Esmeralda, yet he couldn't have her and he began to deadly pursue her.

Mother Gothel (Tangled)
Mother Gothel was one of those characters who made me wonder quite a bit about who she was before she grew older and found the magical flower that returned her youth. I mean, who was she exactly and where did she come from before stealing Rapunzel away from her kingdom and turning her into her personal youth juice box?
I am hoping that Disney or some other company will create movies related to these characters. I know that there is a lot of discussion about the live action creations of The Little Mermaid, Lion King, and even Mulan.
What characters or villains would you guys like to see?
