I just found out that Season 7 of The Vampire Diaries will have 22 episodes. I believe almost every season of the series they usually have between 22 and 23 episodes. I am super excited to find out what is going to be the outcome with the departure of Nina Dobrev's character Elena. However, I am kind of concerned about the possibility of the show being canceled because of the disappointment that came with the season 6 finale of Elena leaving. The Delena fan base was basically what drove The Vampire Diaries in popularity, so a lack of viewers could possibly be the end of the show.
I suppose we shall see what happens.
